Civic Engagement & Policy
As an organization that fights for all marginalized communities and aspires towards a vision of racial and social justice, UNAVSA encourages all our constituents and partners to engage in political events, discussions, and actions that shape a future that is just for all. Throughout the year, we work on political campaigns, release fact sheets, and amplify movements. Our belief is that Vietnamese student organizing can be used to progress all communities, not just our own.
Southeast Asian Solidarity with Black Lives
We spoke with Zon Moua from Freedom, Inc. and Cat Bao Le from SEAC Village about how Southeast Asian American can stay accountable to Black folx in the fight for racial justice and liberation for all.
