Our year-round programs aspire to bring together and impact continental communities, build leaders, strengthen cultural ties, and provide a support network and a collective voice.
As an organization that fights for all marginalized communities and aspires towards a vision of racial and social justice, UNAVSA encourages all our constituents and partners to engage in political events, discussions, and actions that shape a future that is just for all. Throughout the year, we work on political campaigns, release fact sheets, and amplify movements. Our belief is that Vietnamese student organizing can be used to progress all communities, not just our own.
The Collective Philanthropy Project (CPP) is an initiative for Vietnamese students and community organizations to collaborate and partner within working towards one charitable cause. CPP assists North American Vietnamese nonprofit/philanthropic organizations to better achieve their mission through collective and collaborative partnership with UNAVSA and its constituent groups.

The VSA Awards was created in 2010 to showcase and celebrate the accomplishments of the Vietnamese student organizations across North America. Now entering its ninth year, the VSA Awards is now an official component of our gala as part of the annual UNAVSA leadership conference. We at UNAVSA strongly believe that “Excellence has its Rewards.”
