The 2020 Project is hosted a webinar panel to launch the Face the Family Campaign with the Team Reps; Benson Quach, Chris Dinh, and Chantal Thuy to discuss their own experiences having such discussions with their respective family members.

As Asian-Americans and Asian-Canadians, speaking to family members and loved ones about civic engagement or policies can be difficult – whether through language barriers or differences in political leanings. Often times, we choose to avoid having these discussions altogether in order to avoid conflicts. But of course, nothing will change if we don’t talk about important issues and at least come to understand one another. We hope their experiences can help you start a dialogue with your own family members and register someone you care about to vote!
