Empower Up: Burnout & Mental Exhaustion
How do we “empower the next generation of Vietnamese leaders” while making sure that we prioritize our individual and community health? What happens when our stress prevents us from doing our best work? Or when our work prevents us from being our best selves?
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we are proud to collaborate with Diana Chu, a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Drama Therapist to discuss burnout and mental exhaustion. Diana provides mental health consultation, crisis intervention, and early interventions at pre-schools through Richmond Area Multi-services in San Francisco and provides online Drama Therapy. She stands with UNAVSA in breaking down stigmas about mental health, educating the Vietnamese community on mental health basics, and sharing information on how to seek support in cultivating your mental health.
