Jacqueline hails from the Northwest Region! She began her VSA journey at Oregon State University where she served as Public Relations, External Vice President, and lastly Junior Advisor. She continued to dive further into leadership opportunities within Northwest, holding various conference positions and served as one of the 2017-2018 NW CORR. Outside of CORR, UNAVSA-15 was her first time serving on UNAVSA conference staff with hospitality! The sense of community and genuine connections through VSA are qualities she loves and hopes to give back to others.
As a recent graduate from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, she now serves as a Community Health Worker in Portland, Oregon. She is not afraid to admit quite a few major changes during undergrad before figuring out her “calling”. After taking some required public health courses, she felt driven to make an impact on improving health equity. So now, she’s here! If you’re into these kinds of topics, strike up a conversation with her any time!
In her free time, she enjoys powerlifting (squat 225 lbs, deadlift 235 lbs, bench 105 lbs), building Gundams, and finding new places to eat. A useless talent that she has is recognizing items from Costco because she is there so often…
