The Executive Board is the driving force of UNAVSA with task planning, organizing, and approving operations. The Executive Board manages the operations in accordance to the organization’s missions and values. The board reviews short and long-term plans to sustain the structure of uNAVSA. Each executive member serves a two year term and is elected by attendees at the annual conference.
President
Brian Vo Thanh Duy is an associate with Macquarie Capital, a private equity group focusing investment opportunities within the middle market. Previously, Brian spent 2 years as an analyst at Jefferies & Co., an investment bank where he focused primarily on the aerospace & defense industry. He currently serves as President of the Union of North American Vietnamese Students Associations (uNAVSA). Brian is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he was involved in leadership roles within the Asian Pacific American student community and the Wharton Undergraduate community. He enjoys running, golf, cycling and rock climbing in his spare time.

Internal Vice President
Don Nguyen Quy Don was born and raised Washington. He has recently graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Chemistry with the intention to attend medical school. He became involved in the Vietnamese community in his freshman year as a member of the VSA at Seattle Central where he would soon reside as President in the following year. Other notable positions he has held include the Internal Vice President and separately, President of the UVSA of Washington and also acted as the Northwest Representative for the uNAVSA Council of Regional Representatives for two years. Aside from work, school, and uNAVSA he enjoys fitness, sports, reading, music, and movies.

External Vice President
Kim Linh Vu was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she became an implementation consultant for McKesson Corp., a Fortune 18 health care services and information technology firm. In the past five years, she has actively served the community in leadership roles for the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations of Georgia (UVSA-GA) and the union of North American Vietnamese Student Associations (uNAVSA). Aside from her enthusiasm for empowering young leaders, Kim enjoys reading and playing soccer.

Treasurer
Jennifer Le Hoang Anh is an associate at Bank of America in the Global Commercial & Investment Banking group. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California majoring in business administration with an emphasis in Finance and Management & Organization. Her involvement with the Vietnamese community began at USC as a member of the Vietnamese Student Association. In her senior year at USC, Jennifer was elected External Vice President and Intercollegiate Council representative. She continues to stay active and involved in the Vietnamese community as a staff member of the Southern California UVSA. Jennifer joined the team of staff members for uNAVSA for the 2007 Conference as the Finance Director and currently serves as Treasurer on the executive board. In her spare time, she enjoys piano, traveling, sports, and health & fitness.

Secretary
Nick Ngo Hai Trieu is a fifth year college student at Oregon State University and is working towards his B.A. in Ethnic Studies. During his sophomore year at OSU, Nick began his journey of community involvement, leadership training, and dedication to enhancing Vietnamese and Asian Pacific-Islander awareness. In 2008, he served as the Vice-President of the OSU Vietnamese Student Association and as the uNAVSA-5 Communications and Logistics Director. Recently, Nick was the Co-Executive Director for the UVSA Leadership Camp in June 2009 and Programming Director for the uNAVSA-6 Conference in July 2009. In his spare time, he enjoys running, watching movies, friends, tennis and working out.
