The Union of North American Vietnamese Student Associations (UNAVSA) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, non-partisan, community-based organization founded in 2004.  Grounded in the leadership and personal advancement of Vietnamese youth, we are dedicated to the development of tomorrow’s leaders in the Vietnamese Community.  We serve to represent the collective Vietnamese youth voice as the national umbrella organization for Vietnamese youth-based groups.

uNAVSA works to:

• Promote leadership, diversity, community building and culture identity
• Create a voice for the Vietnamese youth
• Provide Vietnamese youth and young professionals networking opportunities
• Unify the Vietnamese community in support of Vietnamese initiatives and causes
• Encourage advocacy and promotion of the Vietnamese and APIA cultural consciousness, justice and social issues

With collaborating student associations and individual community organizations across the greater North America, uNAVSA is successful in networking, exchanging resources, and building relationships that grow and benefit beyond the union. With all the accomplishments, the organization continues to expand with greater hopes of building a more unified Asian American community, as well as, the international Vietnamese community.
